PERCEPTION OF AESTHETICALLY PLEASING VERTICAL DISPLAY OF MAXILARY TEETH IN COMPLETE DENTURE IN POSED SMILE AMONG EDENTULOUS PATIENTS

Objective:
 To determine the perception of aesthetically pleasing Vertical display maxillary teeth complete denture in posed smile among edentulous patients.
 Materials and Methods:
 Fifty-three patients, age range 35 to 85 years, who visited department Prosthodontics at Sardar Begum Dental College Khyber Dentistry Peshawar seek treatment, were included this cross-sectional descriptive study. Picture an patient wearing was modified using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP software. Six pictures with different vertical shown patients their recorded specially designed questionnaire.
 Results:
 Out 53 31 males 22 females. 5 (80% teeth) selected as most attractive by 34% patients. The same picture considered natural 16 (30.2 %) 1 (with no display) artificial 52 (98.11 Conclusion:
 According study, appealing perceived our population is when there 80% teeth.
